This belfry is all what remains of a church during that fateful 1814 eruption when Mayon rained down death and destruction upon Bicolandia's fertile plain. 1,200 people perished.
Indeed it is. Aside from warm people who are always ready with a smile, the views are pretty amazing. Yeah - having young coconut under the palm tree on a secluded white, powdery sand beach would be a thrill!
I'm a Filipino architect based in Kuwait whose two passions in life are travel and photography. Here, you will find photos that I've captured during my travels as well as brief notes on places I've been to and things that I've seen. I use two cameras: a Nikon Coolpix 5000 and a Nikon D300s with various lenses. Both have served me well.
Hope you enjoy the trip!
